Our mission is to provide world-class training in clinical embryology and andrology, combining academic excellence, technological innovation, and industry expertise. About the Center for Healthcare Entrepreneurship (CfHE)
The Center for Healthcare Entrepreneurship (CfHE) at IIT Hyderabad, established in 2016, is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to driving healthcare innovation in India. CfHE focuses on developing affordable and indigenous healthcare solutions to address the country’s critical healthcare challenges. By supporting the creation of cutting-edge medical devices such as wearable health monitors, AI-driven rehabilitation tools, and non-invasive diagnostics, CfHE enhances healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
With a strong emphasis on education and entrepreneurship, CfHE offers a one-year biomedical engineering fellowship to upskill young innovators and provides funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities to foster healthcare startups. To date, CfHE has successfully launched 33 startups, developed over 50 intellectual properties (IPs), and brought 8 innovative products to market, significantly contributing to job creation and advancing healthcare accessibility in India.
