Course Description:
This comprehensive course provides an introduction for new staff joining an IVF unit, covering key management, clinical, laboratory, and nursing aspects of assisted reproductive technology (ART). Participants will gain an understanding of the fundamental processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements within an IVF unit, equipping them to effectively contribute to the team and ensure a high standard of patient care.
Course Objectives:
- Familiarize new staff with the IVF unit environment, workflows, and processes.
- Provide foundational knowledge of reproductive physiology and ART principles.
- Introduce organizational and customer management aspects unique to IVF clinics.
- Explore the regulatory framework, ethical considerations, and disaster management in ART.
- Provide an overview of IVF lab procedures through wet lab demonstrations and virtual presentations.
