Deepanwita Chattopadhyay is responsible for developing the first Life Science Research Park in India and establishing a sustainable innovation and knowledge cluster around a science park through a Public-Private Partnership model. She has deep interest in entrepreneurship, incubation and institution building. Apart from developing a commercially sustainable not-for-profit Science Park and Life Science Incubator, she pioneered an Engineering Design and Hardware Product Incubator and Makerspace to fuel the maker movement and culture of ‘making’ in India. Deepanwita works with several global and Indian partners from public and private sectors to nurture and fund over 150 healthcare product innovators and startups.
